Encryption

The hard drives of our office computers are encrypted by default and encryption keys are kept off-site during the night.

Therefore, any information that is kept on our machines is safe, even in the event of a burglary.

With a key size of 64kbit your data is safe with us.

In addition to that, we have backup procedures in place to ensure business continuity even in the event of data loss or failure.

Malware Protection

With the rapid rise of identity theft, as well as various viruses, trojans and spyware, we aim to solve the problem at its root.

We have set up our computer systems based on open source software only.

We use Ubuntu as an operating system. Ubuntu comes from the Linux family and currently, there are no known active viruses that affect it. It might sound shocking but the source code of the entire system and its applications is open to the public and since there are millions of people watching, it is very hard for any security hole to remain open for any length of time.

This simply means that data that is entrusted to us is secure. Such a standard of security cannot be compared to any that a Windows based computer can offer.

Office applications

As mentioned above, we use open source applications in our daily work, which means always having access to the software documentation and being able to open the files, even if the software is no longer used. This also means that whatever documents we create for you can be opened on many applications, not only on those that we use.

Of course, we can adjust our system to produce file formats that you desire, including propriety Microsoft formats.

Secure communication

As stated in our Environmental Stand, email is our preferred means of communication. To ensure the security and integrity of our communications, we use digital signatures which enable you to verify if the email actually came from us, and whether it had been tampered with in any way.
